Our Letters and Get Well Cards to Wounded Soldiers
This past Friday we wrote our letters to wounded soldiers at The Walter Reed Medical Center in Washington, D.C. I was so impressed on my students' enthusiasm on this project. All the kids wrote such caring letters and get well cards. In their letters they all said they were praying for their soldier's healing. I was so touched by one student's testimony about her personal healing and told her soldier that if God healed her than he could heal them too. Our class hopes that these letters and cards put a smile on a soldiers face and they know that a child in a christian school is praying for them. We have also added wounded soldiers to our daily morning prayer.
